Responsibility without compensation. And once you qualify, FedEx will do everything to force you to remain a DG agent, much like being a swing driver, except swings get a bump in pay scale.

I didn’t want to scare him off, but yeah, this is 100% accurate

Dont let those 2 tools scare you. While some of what they say is true, those 2 have a deep hatred for the very company that they work for. Why they work for a place they hate so bad is strange. One of them even brags about his college degree and states he could make twice the salary if he left.
You would be better off finding a DG agent and asking them your questions. You will find very few accurate answers here.

Best tip anyone can give you is get out of being a dg specialist as soon as you can.

Same pay as everyone else but you get the added bonus of playing with hazardous substances. Totally a win in my books...

Why don’t you pull up the post where I said that?

Unhappy people seem to always hang out with other unhappy people so that would explain your opinion.
I can just see you whistling "Zipidy do dah" when you get up every morning, then breaking into Pharell's "Happy" in front of your coworkers on the sort. It just warms my heart to see FedEx couriers with such an upbeat attitude.
