It also won't do a damn thing for getting rid of the 150 degree heat in the rear of the truck.

Exactly!!!! Ac is great and makes for a wonderful pr move but in the end doesn’t solve the actual issue.

How will the AC work for routes in the city or developments, where stops are close?

Poorly.

That’s where it’s going to be fun. However I do see ups making a huge push to actually maintain the fleet we have now. Mechanics will be very busy soon.
