My dad gave me an old .38 special. Hasnt been shot in probably 2 decades. I need to take it to one of those gun turn in places when they give you $100 for any gun...
sell it on gunbroker.

My son picked up a nice Enfield at a gun show a few years back. The guy also gave him the bayonet still in the factory paper brand new.I have a k98 in really rough shape, a very nice WW2 Enfield, a so-so 03A3 Springfield, and an average .30 carbine.
I also like those military rifles.
I have a 1913 Luger my grandfather brought home from WW1 too.

Lol. I don't trust you! I would probably have a knock on my door by the FBI in less than a month!!! Lolor sell it to me!

Rule #2, the double tap.Double tap with one trigger pull!
Recommend light loading.
It looks like those were some loads with a dirty burning powder.Recommend light loading.
Yeah but I usually loaded .45's with quicker and cleaner burning powders. I didn't load them light though.I've noticed light loading with Accurate #5 can be pretty smoky.
A lot of .38 loads are dirty, yeah. That was with 38 spl and like about 5 grains.
If you were shooting them in a .357 you could probably get away with it. One of the reasons I always tried to have loads that filled over half the case so I couldn't double charge by accident.Wait till you accidentally get a double charge in one of those long cases. Never again!
