Even the knockoffs have 3 sears. The authentic reproductions have 4. Thanks to the Texas rangers input about the shortcomings of the Colt Patterson, which was in itself a quantum leap in technology, we got the great Walker Colt. Named after Texas Ranger captain Samuel Hamilton Walker. A .44 caliber handgun which was the most powerful handgun in the world until the .44 magnum came out in the 50s.

Adjusting the linkage is key to the travel on the trigger.
More importantly is to have a professional trigger job done.
Smooth as silk and you barely notice between the slack and the firing.
Dramatical increased the accuracy, 1 MOA at 100yrds.

I was looking for commercial soft point ammo that is domestic. Hornady makes 9 x18 defense loads and I have seen 7.62 x 54R made by mainstream companies like Norma
