Springfield? It's funny. I have a old .410 that I got from my dad. Yours reminded me of it. Looks very similar.

Springfield?
I have a Stevens-Savage 22/410 that was my fathers. I reblued it myself (Birchwood Casey kit) a long time ago. It looks OK but would look a lot better if I knew what I was doing at the time.To be honest I don't know but I think it's Stevens. Only markings on it are the words "Ranger".
When I looked it up all I could find was that it was sold by Sear Roebuck and that a few firearms manufacturers made rifles for them. Steven's and Springfield being a couple of them.
Model 24? Id like the 12 ga/ 30-30 comboI have a Stevens-Savage 22/410 that was my fathers. I reblued it myself (Birchwood Casey kit) a long time ago. It looks OK but would look a lot better if I knew what I was doing at the time.
More or less it is. It is a model 22-410 which was later renamed the model 24.Model 24? Id like the 12 ga/ 30-30 combo
Then you buy a second one.Went with a friend to pick up his new S&W M&P Shield in .45.
I have one in 9mm, but what if I like his better when we shoot it???
I would prefer the .45. But would take the 9mm if it was given to me.Went with a friend to pick up his new S&W M&P Shield in .45.

I've been meaning to get one of those in 9mm. You'll need to report back, and tell me what you think of the .45 compared to it.Went with a friend to pick up his new S&W M&P Shield in .45.

Too small of frame for me. Especially for .40 or .45. Hands are too big for it.Went with a friend to pick up his new S&W M&P Shield in .45.
