Mine went out about 2 years ago.

After a quick YouTube search, popped off the access panel and laughed when I saw that big capacitor swelled up.

The hardest part was getting the supply place to sell me a replacement.


I now have a heating and cooling business.

A full unit replacement is really only pertinent when it's something drastic like coil fins rotting away (such was the case) or a twenty year old unit with a bad compressor.

My buildings Twilight sort had hundreds of window air conditioning units all going to Washington and Oregon tonight. I have no idea why they were shipped UPS instead of LTL freight.
