I've been to San Diego twice. Both times were for Union business.

The first time when we got to the hotel, I noticed there were no doors leading to the front desk.

When I asked why.... the clerk said "there is no need, the weather is like this every day."

My buildings Twilight sort had hundreds of window air conditioning units all going to Washington and Oregon tonight. I have no idea why they were shipped UPS instead of LTL freight.

Freight is backed up in many areas like you wouldn't believe.

A full unit replacement is really only pertinent when it's something drastic like coil fins rotting away (such was the case) or a twenty year old unit with a bad compressor.

Or if you're an HVAC service person.

Yeah what they did differently was cut more routes, the only time I ever had more stops was the very first weekend COVID started, when the computer says 2130 without your lunch you know it’s gonna be a barn burner
