Go to Walmart. Someone with 4 years in is making more than a new hire. Amazon, someone with 4 years in is making 3+ dollars more than a new hire. Pick a place and ask someone with 5+ years in if they make what new hires make and they will laugh at you and say no. Yet ups teamsters can only get bare minimum for everyone employed since 2014

A30 year driver makes the same as a 4 year guy. You don’t see them complaining.
Not only that, I'm thrilled for everybody when they reach top pay. Then I tell them they really should slow down.

I just remember how big of a deal it was for me in basically 5 years tripling my pay from where I was before UPS.

Now we got people complaining that their pay was raised to 21 bucks. I worked 9 years at my other job and was still 5 dollars away from that with so so insurance.
I made 12.17 my first year of progression
18.75 for me and I remember being excited about that.
Got it. I will vote on this contract solely on what I am getting and give no thought to anyone else or what they are getting.
