My route has so many beautiful old houses.

Those houses look nice but nightmares to maintain.

Nice porch. That was one thing my wife insisted on when we built our house--a big porch. At the present time we have 3 rocking chairs.

There are no poor people living in this village and all the houses are very well maintained. If I hit the lottery I would buy one in a heartbeat.

Some of those old houses have slate roofs. Those last about a hundred years.
