Too funny! I was talking to UPS guy on my route and he told me they're having to bus people from a homeless shelter in the city to be helpers. He said they're feeding them lunch and I can't remember if he said dinner too or not. He said the drivers have interesting stories of helpers shoplifting at the 7-11 or coming out with a beer in their hand, etc. lol.

My peanut butter balls are a big hit. I brought some for the mechanics and three other people. No one is sharing. Lol.

What a gorgeous day this is incredible...shorts and short sleeves in mid December

I finally heard back from my insurance company. They lowered my home insurance almost $400 a year after I complained about the rate creep. Only change was the deductible used to be $500 comprehensive and $1000 for wind and hail which changed to $1000 for everything. I have only had 1 claim in 30 years so a lower deductible makes sense. Merry Christmas to me.

Keep an eye on it over the next couple of years. They tend to give you a break if you complain BUT are notorious for jacking it back up to even more than what it was over the next couple of years. The insurance companies are all bastards as far as I'm concerned. They rank right up there with lawyers and car salesman.
