The lawnboy which is much newer,always a headache.

Yep. Columbia mower (some kind of Canadian thing my step-father bought used) with a Honda engine. Turned on the gas, choked it and one half-assed pull.

Say what you want, but Honda builds good stuff.



(The old 2-stroke Lawn Boys were bullet-proof. Had one of them until a fifty dollar condenser possibly failed.)

Always a fuel issue with the lawnboy.

Mine has one of the impossible to kill Briggs & Stratton engines. Took a couple of cranks to start it and it ran a little rough at first with the old gas but keeps on chugging along.

It all depends on for whom Briggs is producing the engine.

Some are really good and will last for ever with a little care. Others, the discount store models, good luck after a year or two.
