Warning letter cause a supervisor said hey found a clerk package in my truck? Is that even legal!!!!? Didn't happen either...but I find it funny it's the day after I filed two grievances

I had a sup that used to plant crap like that all of the time.

@oldngray I'm not saying they don't do stupid stuff, just nothing like THAT. In all my years, and at all the different stations I've been in, I've never heard of such a thing. I was shocked when I read that UPS sups do that stuff, or salting.

Done on a regular basis at UPS. More often if they suspect a driver is trying to hide packages they didn't make service on.

What's even worse is we have had sups caught red handed in the act and they just end up promoted.

The only time I've ever heard of a management type setting anyone up was when I first started. Our Senior Manager (big boss) was known for putting his business card in the finger hole of the dipstick trying to catch people not pretripping their trucks. No one ever playing games with customer's packages.

We had a log to mess with periodically. Usually because the clerks would mess up and the drivers always got blamed.
