Got a question for the PC drivers on here. One of my good friends who still works for this outfit told me last night that the feeder department is trying to get all the feeder drivers to sign a paper that they would no longer be allowed to drink, eat, answer the phone, talk to the co-driver, etc because they were concerned about "distracted driving".....As of right now, none of the almost 200 drivers in my old department has signed it. Was just wondering if it was just that one department, or sleeper teams, or all employees that drive, or even nationwide. inquiring minds want to know. lol.

Could just be sleeper teams.....I haven't heard anything about that from the feeders I know.

to the point where you can't listen to the radio or drink a coke? They used to call me on my cell all the time and ask me where I was, or what was my ETA. Some of those sleeper teams have company issued cell phones. WTF? It is really getting ridiculous. The BA was in the building friday and told the drivers not to sign anything, as if they had to be told.

That's funny. I thought y'all aren't supposed to sign stuff like that....extra contractual agreements.

They come up with this kind of stuff for you to sign from time to time. Usually feeder drivers have been there a long time, long enough to know better. We are a bunch of scofflaws and hooligans. lol. All I ever signed was the back of my paycheck on Fridays. With DD, you don't even do that anymore either.
