All of these places will give you the "authentic" Philly cheesesteak that everyone's talks about. Personally, you can get better sandwiches in my neck of the woods, but these places are where people send famous people for a philly cheese steak.

I've never had an "authentic" Philly cheesesteak. A couple places in town make kinda good ones, but with white cheese, not Cheese Whiz or Velveeta. Another place makes a good cheesesteak stromboli, and yet another makes a good cheesesteak pizza.

When I want one, I make my own. Roll from a local Italian bakery, thin sliced sirloin, sautéed onions and peppers and Velveeta.

Laugh if you want, but I think they're pretty damned good.
