I remember I was probably 13 or 14 (I looked older) and was out front mowing the lawn. These two black gentleman maybe 18 or 20 yrs old roll up in this tricked out car...and wave me over. I walk over to the curb...maybe 3 feet from the car. We chatted for a few minutes..they asked for directions and then asked if I wanted to come to a party.
Just then...I hear my dad yell my name and call me back to the house....in that tone of voice that I knew I friend'd up. The guys drove off...and my father slapped me up side my head so hard...I thought he loosened my teeth....lol. I was taught better than that...talking to strange men.
