just curious here i was in the office last night finishing up internationals and the steward here was just complaining about it making it sound dumb. why would that be? isn't it a good thing??

It's to prevent excessive over time. I have no desire to work 10 or 11 hours a day.

I understand that im just confused as to why he would complain about it saying its dumb etc etc it seems like a great thing and if more people got on it wouldnt it make more ft jobs eventually? i havent heard all that great things about the steward so maybe im biased. maybe my locale just sucks that hard

i think my pt and my ft steward are how odd no wonder shes got off most this week. considering stepping up when the time comes idk i feel like ive given coworkers more contract information than my steward has even tried to

At contract negotiation time, the union needs to put a 7 hr list on the table as a starting point. Work their way to 8 or 8.5.

Can you imagine the faces of the company reps when that's proposed? They hate the 9.5 enough as it is.
