I used to do it if a sup was riding with me but when you are alone no you can not do this.

Any one of us would be fired if observed doing it.

I don't take that at all. I'm new. You guys do the job everyday. I want to learn how to do this the right way so I can train people to do it the right way. You guys are helping me learn things I never even thought about so it is much appreciated.

I couldn't live with myself if I trained someone wrong and they lost their job over it.
