Fight the power.
Someone got fired back in September for fighting. Nobody was really surprised by this fact. Actually, all people would say about the matter was "I'm just surprised it doesn't happen more often around here."

Can't let this place get to you. It's just a job. A :censored2:ty job that, without the union, UPS wouldn't be able to find enough people to do.
Day one you "make book" they start a paper trail to fire you. This is not a job for the weak. I have been fired several times. Luckily we have the best union on earth backing us. We have a great dinasoar job where we make more than others that spend tens of thousands of dollars on schooling. Keep trucking bro. Keep positive. It will all work out in the long run.

I'm not a driver, but I get it. What I don't get is the whole paper trail thing. You allow someone to attain seniority in a position only to start looking for ways to get rid of them right after that? What the hell?

Up is down, right is left, etc..

Cut a route 15 minutes before start time today. Not enough time to do all the add/cuts, so the driver who had his route cut spent the day shuttling the add/cuts between drivers on road.

I'd go crazy trying to make sense of these folks numbers, only number that matters drops to my bank account early Friday mornings.
