Yep...same thing in my building. No more carpeting allowed...woohoo. Nothing like trying to load a 100 lb irreg and the front edge of the box get caught on a loose edge of carpet...PITA. plus after a few good rainstorms they'd start to stink.

Then you replace it with another and so on. I think the 100 lb e reg slides too much and crushes everything especially the way I drive. Carpet holds it in place.

From my experience...the carpet edges get loose and become a tripping hazard after enough rain and snow storms.
