And you can see them right from the pool side most days, on the hill, by the trees.

Of course the second one is a winter pic, best time to go to the hotsprings, the water is at it's warmest temperture, too.
In the Spring time, the underground hotsprings get cooled, (deluted), down by the melting snow and the temperature becomes almost luke warm like a normal heated pool. In winter the temp averages 100F, Spring, early summer only around 75-80F.

This is near the Jasper Hotsprings that are called Moraine Hotsprings and this pic is Moraine Lake:

Prime Minister Stephen Harper is getting tougher on pot growers than he is on rapists of children. Under the Tories' omnibus crime legislation tabled Tuesday, a person growing 201 pot plants in a rental unit would receive a longer mandatory sentence than someone who rapes a toddler or forces a five-year-old to have sex with an animal.
Producing six to 200 pot plants nets an automatic six-month sentence, with an extra three months if it's done in a rental or is deemed a public-safety hazard. Growing 201 to 500 plants brings a one-year sentence, or 1½ years if it's in a rental or poses a safety risk.
The omnibus legislation imposes one-year mandatory minimums for sexually assaulting a child, luring a child via the Internet or involving a child in bestiality. All three of these offences carry lighter automatic sentences than those for people running medium-sized grow-ops in rental property or on someone else's land.

When a rented house is found, the grower have by-passed the hydro ( electric cables ) meters and hooked directly in to the main lines. Thus deeming it a public -safety hazard.
Also the owner of the rental is charged with all the repairs to the property and for all the stolen power.
In many cases the house is unrepairable, do to structural changes and massive mold build up, and has to be torn down, and most if not all of the insurance companies void their policies.
Thus the owner of the property is put into a very high financial situation from which many never recover.

Montreal tops in North America

Montreal Gazette – Wed, 21 Sep, 2011

Montreal has placed among the top 10 in a survey of the world's most bike-friendly cities, earning the highest ranking of any metropolis in North America.

The Bicycle-Friendly Cities 2011 index, compiled by urban-planning Danish consulting firm Copenhagenize that specializes in cycling issues, noted that even the survey producers were surprised cities like Montreal, Rio de Janeiro and New York were among the top 20. The firm looked at 80 major cities around the world.

"Montreal is North America's premiere bicycle city and comes in at No. 8.," Copenhagenize writes. "The city has had a bicycle infrastructure since the mid-'80s, which should embarrass other cities on that continent, and the rebirth of bicycle culture is noticeable across the city.

"A strong, successful bike-sharing program has been implemented and a strong advocacy NGO (Vélo Québec), together with some visionary politicians, make the bicycle's future in Montreal look rosy."
Montreal has expanded its bicycle network in recent years, to a total of 535 kilometres, with the intention of increasing it to 800 kilometres by 2015. Bixi, the bicycle sharing network, has proven extremely popular.

So why hasn't anyone actually charged him with it, yet ?
They all say he's guilty , but no one dares to actually put him on trial.
I think you should take the lead here, contact the RCMP and officially charge him.
All it will take is one person to stand up and show the rest of the world who is a true leader, and that has to be you.

Who has not forgotten this story ?
Baby Joseph died today.
The baby that had no other outcome, but death, and the Canadian Healthboard agreed an operation would be useless.
Anyways, so whatever church they belong to, has raised money to send the baby to St Louis for the surgery, and now less then 6 mths later the end result is the same. But, mind you, atleast some surgeon in the US got paid very good money, and so did the nurses and hospital there.

Baby Joseph dies at home after legal battle

Getting 6 more months of life IS something!!
With that kind of thinking......why bother with any medical procedures for any of us, the end result is the same! No one gets out alive.

You're assuming the "6 more months of life" was to benefit Joseph. Maybe it was for his parents to give them time to say goodbye.

Could be also to benefit the parents, you're right.
Pay less taxes with a child, get a free live in Nanny, because the child has special needs, and paid leave from work, and probably many other social benefits and freebies.

Not saying they did that (purposly) - but it's possible.
They are immigrants to Canada - so who knows ? (I shouldn't have typed that last sentence, but I know you think that way, too).

Have you ever had children?

Nope, but shouldn't have much to do with it.
If people want to spend near a half million dollars to keep a baby alive that came dead sick into the world and has no chance of even surviving, then they should soley pay for the bills to keep it alive another few months.

Not put in on tax payers or your insurance.
Your insurance rates have just risen 9%, should we keep everybody clinical dead alive and have rates go up and over the rooftop ?

Yea, it has something to do with the parents wanting to keep the baby alive as long as they can without torturing the child. Not being a parent, I would not expect you to understand this. That isn't a TOS, you don't understand type of thing.

As far as the government healthcare paying for it or not, ya gotta make up your mind. Do you want the government to pay for medical care or not? The discussion rather to keep someone alive or not should never rest in the hands of the doctors nor the government and damn sure not the next door neighbor. Can you say...DEATH PANEL ?

klein

Für Meno :)
It was in the hands of the doctors ! The doctors here agreed the surgery is unneccesary, since the baby was dying anyways.
Then those parents went to appeal that decision by the doctors to the healthboard, but the healthboard agreed with the doctors.
That's when money was privately raised from his church group to take the baby to St Lious for the baby better to breath.
And now it's dead !

That baby was born with a death sentence ! No doctor or healthboard made that decision !

I don't care what you folks do down south, but I'ld like to see your insurance pay for an operation that even the doctors don't agree with.
Do your insurance companies even operate on patients that get no medical approval from surgeons or doctors ?
I think not - so it would be up to the parent to fork over cash to pay for a surgery that has the same death sentence as without one.

:sad-little:This sad conversation reminds me of State Senator Obama's vote to let a "botched abortion" die.

Nothing like a compassionate Liberal watching a baby-a live human being die in a bedpan !!!

OK, Klein, all of your smoking has given you a stage 4 lung cancer.....the doctors could operate and remove it, but you're gonna die in 6 months anyway, so they're not gonna do the surgery( even if it would buy you a year). Yeah, that's not what "the folks down south" believe. We apparently value life more here than up there.
