The EV will save most people 5-10 minutes per week all year, because they don't have to do a weekly fillup.

Then it will cost them 30 minutes every now and then on a road trip.

The difference between them just doesn't matter.

It’s inconvenient
So is a 10 minute errand every week, which I don't have because I have an EV.

Maybe math will dent your head:
I save 5-10 minutes a week over you, because I don't fill up every week. That's 50 stops and 4 hours of time I save.

You save 20-30 minutes per charge on road trips vs. filling up.

I save more time per year, but it's not that different either way.

For now, that charging cost is going to rise as soon as more people change autos.
I spoke of it costing TIME. Not money. You really don't even read.

You are cost time every week when you fill up.
I am cost time every road trip.

You have no net time advantage. It's just a slightly different setup.

Don’t care, that would happen one time to me when I wasn’t expecting it and that would be it.
