Rising EV inventories and a Tesla-fueled price war could signal the beginnings of a pause in growth for the EV market.
A recent report from Cox Automotive shows automakers such as General Motors, Ford, Hyundai, and Toyota have more than 90 days' worth of unsold EVs at dealerships in July. That's about 92,000 EVs sitting at lots, more than three times the number compared with a year ago. New vehicle inventories are up about 74% from a year ago.

Charging availability and the fear of the time to charge while traveling has changed the publics' perception. Also, fast chargers cost you more than a reasonably economical ICE car's tank of fuel.

Straight EVs are best for home owners in metro areas, with longish commutes.

  • Residents who already own an EV will also have to pay a $200 registration fee
  • The measure is expected to bring in about $38 million in revenue for the state

  • A US-based study claims that men who want to seem like 'real men' dislike EVs
  • Instead gasoline-fuelled cars are often preferred as a marker of masculinity

Instead of using facts to support his argument he insults the ignorant Neaderthals for not jumping on the EV bandwagon.

Austin is like the Texas version of California.

you are probably just compensating for something and stupid if you need to buy a gas car to prove how much of a man you are.

but 99% of people are inside and accept the programming of the matrix, so we cant count on this majority to know the truth

The government is trying to mandate more EVs but not many people are buying them.
the govt is extremely corrupt. we should have had a functioning transportation system 50 years ago. even if all the cars were all EVs i am skeptical that it would actually be sustainable.
