You guys all remember back 25 or 30 years ago when stores didn't roll out their Christmas stuff until after Thanksgiving? ??

It usually started more like the day after Halloween I think.

I thought it was bad when I saw Halloween decoration stuff in Target in the middle of August.

Went to SAMs club this weekend. Very little Halloween no thanksgiving/fall and a ton of Xmas stuff.

I have Christmas cards on my truck for a store today. I just shook my head when I saw those boxes.

I could care less about peak, been running peak numbers all year. It is the early darkness that I truly dread, really makes the day worse.

Hopefully they have better contingency plan in place for Dallas. Someone mentioned last year Dallas feeders runs was back up for weeks. Atlanta sent neighboring states feeder managers/supervisor there to clear up the backlog. Than a another poster said the guy in charge in Dallas feeders committed suicide in the office, after learning the company was going to terminate him for Dallas feeder failure.
