We've been told to avoid backing twice (via DIAD) since ORION was implemented. You can't make this stuff up.

So instead of scheduling the pickup at the +-15 minute window, Orion has chosen instead to violate "policy" and tell you to pick it up 6 hours early?

Or is this in the board as "OK to pick up early" pickup?

It tells me to violate "policy" and pick it up 6 hours early.

If I obey, I am out of compliance on the scheduled pickup time.

If I don't, I am out of compliance on ORION.

The beauty of such stupidity is this: by giving me conflicting instructions, the company has negated its ability to discipline me when I fail to follow them.

This gives me the freedom to simply do the right thing and take care of the customer and the route in the most efficient manner possible. The right hand may not know what the hell the left hand is doing, but it doesn't matter because I know what the hell I am doing.

Fourth phase will be ORION re-organizing the DOL in real-time.

That should be where the real fun begins.
