People are soft nowadays, that's a fact. And the hand holding, coddling only further enables weak spirit individuals.
Show up for work prepared. Drink fluids AFTER work for the day after, sort your truck with all the doors open. Work off your 2000 shelf as taught, eat lots of high H2O fruits n veggies. Take responsibility for yourself.

Are you UPS management?
IMO People are soft nowadays. They are afraid to hold companies responsible and they belittle the weakest among them as being soft. It is horrible when union brothers and sisters are more sympathetic to rich companies blame the worker instead of holding the company’s feet to the fire.

It is horrible when weak union brothers and sisters take advantage of the hard working union brothers and sisters who make everything possible for them, and then point fingers when they're called out for being weak.
Survival of the fittest. Your idea of a union fights dawrinism. It's a losing proposition, the dead weight will sink the ship.

Thing is I can't ever remember anyone ever getting heat exhaustion in my early years. Was it hot? Dam sure was and the package cars had absolutely no ventilation. Wait I stand corrected there was some type of kick out vent down by your feet.

My old man worked in a hot factory. Lol, He brought a thermos of hot coffee to work with him every day. No air-conditioning in the house or vehicles.

Nah RPCD, proud of my brothers n sisters.
Proud they worked part time for years, proud they made it thru their packet. Proud they put up with corporate BS everyday.
But most importantly proud that they all know they signed up for a physical and mentally demanding job. We work when it's 100, we work when it's 0 and we get feet of snow over a shift. You come equipped and bang it out and do it again the next day.
We don't cry to management that the snows too deep, or it's too hot. You wear 2 pairs of socks, warm up in businesses,or jump in the lake and cool down in businesses.
Sack up.

I want to state that you and I are not on different sides here. I think protections are important, but it tends to water things down when they are trying to compensate for stupid.
