70 hour rule in affect my neck of the woods

My route is thick but my mileage has shrunk to nothing. We are definitely heavy but have enough PVDs and seasonals that we're getting less hours than we usually do during the regular year.

They left guys out 14 hours last night.

I don't know why it's so dramatically different everywhere. I'm in MA, averaging 8 hour days. Building average is about 8.5. Was actually looking for more hours.

PVD are great or are they ? … terrible idea if you like your overtime… I worked yesterday if I didn’t they would PVD my route to death

Friday morning management said that if you didn’t have enough hours you wouldn’t be asked to work Saturday. That even they sent out the message saying we using the 79 hour rule. I clocked 63 hours after my Saturday route.

I’m getting sent out with 250 / 400+ packages with no helper. Brought up that I had a buddy who wanted to help and management told me we already have too many helpers. I hit 60 on the dot because of no helper in an area that could be quite productive if they just gave me a runner so I could organize.

As long as you were off the 9.5 list by September 1, they cannot limit your hours if they’re working PVD.
