Can't. Route was cut permanently.

Most of the rural deferral drivers in my local are enjoying it. It was a pain at first, but now they like it because most of them live out in the middle of nowhere and have farms and other things they deal with so when they get a day off, they get their stuff done.. those people just live out there.

So they are helping the company. Some here will be calling them Carol.

Lol I don’t think they’re helping Carol. I just think they understand it’s out of their control. And they have a lot of other things they can do. Like I said, most of these people have small farms or other businesses. They’re more than happy to work three or four days a week.

So all the Company's perceived savings by not running these cars on designated days is lost on local management letting these drivers off on days the routes aren't in?

H&W and pension contributions is over $800/wk in most areas.

This is likely having an adverse effect on @Wally dividend checks.

It’s definitely a lifestyle different than most.

All I see is a temporary partial closure for renovation.

These "525 employees" will likely have a right to follow their work.
Lower seniority employees at the remaining buildings that absorb the work will likely be in peril too by virtue of Article 38 and applicable supplemental language.

Just curious, should the Company be required to continue processing packages at an antiquated building, would that make it "The Best Contract Ever"???
Yeah - that “renovation“ will be automation

I thought they was putting in air conditioning and a nice lunch room.

Actually, in one of our buildings (an actual hub) they have 3 big break rooms with AC, cable TV, and

every kind of vending machine you could imagine. Also a fridge to store your personal food or drinks.

They were going to have showers too

I've heard of some (older) buildings that had showers. Never saw one.

Could you imagine dropping your stuff off in the locker room and @IVE GOTTA PACKAGE 4U

comes walking around the corner free balling it with Mr. Johnson hanging out ? Yikes....

We still have showers in our building
I don't think anybody uses them
