HA HA HA HA...

Rumor has it that many of our rural areas are going to be combined. Huge money to run a building in no man’s land.

The company put the new hub right near the exit. Unfortunately, the old hub is 50 miles away and this is the only road to get to the expressway. There were putting in a new road but Democrat tree huggers found some salamander in the woods, got a ban on the project.
Poor little salamander. Leave him alone….

That’s not a unique situation. Happens out here when they are planning pipelines.

I said before that the union need a public relations campaign to fight remote delivery. Wouldn't cost much to do either, probably less than one of their fancy conferences.

It is probably cheaper to shut down the extended centers and eat the extra mileage.
From what I understand It is way cheaper. The remote delivery is just a test run for future projects. It’s a sample of what can be done on a large scale.
Think of Amazon delivery day when you know what day you get your delivery. Put ups in front of it and go from there.

When they first started remote delivery a long time ago one of the first things they said was that it wasn't supposed to be used as a dispatch tool. But of course it was.

How can it not be?

I wonder if they send out Saturday delivery on a remote defined routes?

Saturday delivery was necessary because of the competition they said.

I had a commute like that when I got my first pad. Was cheap and in a :censored2: hole so after a year I moved closer to work. 60 miles one way.

The Union can't dictate to the company how to run their business.
Not really dictating as I see it.

The company will do what it wants. We are simply concerned union workers, informing the customers we proudly service, about any possible disruptions or delays. We do not want them to blame us. At the same time, we are letting shareholders know so as not to be surprised by customer dissatisfaction affecting share price.

If the company was in a tire air trailer sit there because it got to the building a little bit late do you think they actually care about some ground packages? If the company was in a tire air trailer sit there because it got to the building a little bit late do you think they actually care about some ground packages?

They will care if customers care, not until.

We can sit back and do nothing, or try to get customers caring.

They don’t care. And believe me the customers affected already know we don’t need news media or the union to create a public affairs division for it. When the company loses enough money because of it, they will stop it until then they will continue.

They used it as a dispatch tool here. I liked being able to pick and choose what I wanted to. Fortunately I had a route where I could drop stops with the rangers or different ones who were willing to help me out. It’s a lot different now.

This is happening all over the country. We held the company under a knife and demanded raises based on Covid/Pandemic profits. Not a sustainable business model, this is UPS way of making sure they don’t drown and go under like so many freight companies or Sears, you name it. You have to adapt. Honestly I’d be more worried if I worked in a building that wasn’t getting a facelift, writing is on the wall IMO. Just wish they would start adding AC for the buildings to these renovations.
How about you get off of Carol's withered left titty. What a company suck up
