The fact is that you don’t have to be a citizen to have a social-security number, evidenced by the fact that Barack Obama, Sr., British subject, applied for and received a number (574-44-4342) in 1960.
Social-security cards were issued by local offices around the country and the “574” prefix refers to the offices in Hawaii.
So why doesn't bhos' SS# started 574 , instead of being from Conn.?

SSN's are issued in numerical order depending upon which part of the country you live in, starting at 001 on the east coast and ending at 999 on the west. I was born in RI and my first three are 011. My ex was born in OK and hers are 503. The kids were both in TX and theirs are 454 and 457.

Mine falls in the range stated for the state you posted above.
My brother and I got ours in 1959 or 60 and back then they issued them in sequential order which has been a pain in the arse my whole life. We are constantly having stuff removed from each others credit.

If you've seen this, you need to read it again!The most important thing about Obama is that he is a Muslim. He was born at the Provencal General Hospital, Mombasa, Kenya, at 7:21 PM. His birth name was Barry Soretoro. His Mother flew to Honolulu and registered his birth, but failed to list the hospital or place of birth. He received a foreign student lone from the US Government to go to college, and listed his nationality as Indonesian, so if he never applied for citizenship after that, he is not even qualified to be anything.

- He did not threaten to stop payments to illegal aliens
- He did not threatened to take frivolous benefits such as Internet access away from violent inmates
- He did not offer to fire some of the thousands of unnecessary federal employees that he hired
- He did not offer to cut down on his or his wife's frivolous gallivanting around
- He did not threaten to not pay the senators and representatives or any of their staff
- He did not threaten to take benefits away from welfare recipients
- He did not threaten the food stamp programs
- He did not threaten to not pay foreign aid
- He did not threaten to cut back on anything that involves his base voters
- The list could go on and on. He is in full political re-election mode!
