Biased because it is proven to work, is what she explained.

'The fact that we have this patch-work system in this country increases costs. I have a little bit of a bias because I lived and worked in Europe for many years and in fact I had two children under the National Health care system in Britain. And I really do think you get the big efficiencies in costs when you have one system that's connected, the technology is the same across a country."

You should go back there. Maybe your "infinite wisdom" can help Greece or Cyprus ...just to name a couple.

Those folks who think that America should follow the European model of ANYTHING are pretty ignorant and foolish...wouldn't you agree? :happy-very:

It's funny how there will be plenty of money for the investigation of a ricin letter sent to "O".....but sequestration has drained any money for the Boston bombing investigation.....Funny :censored2:!!

Via NBC News:
Federal agents on Wednesday arrested a suspect in the mailing of letters to President Barack Obama and a U.S. senator that initially tested positive for the poison ricin.
The suspect was identified as Paul Kevin Curtis of Tupelo, Miss., federal officials told NBC News. They said he may appear in court as early as Wednesday night.

Both letters carried an identical closing statement, according to an FBI bulletin obtained by NBC News on Wednesday.

According to the FBI bulletin, both letters, postmarked April 8, 2013 out of Memphis, Tenn., included an identical phrase, “to see a wrong and not expose it, is to become a silent partner to its continuance.”

In addition, both letters are signed: “I am KC and I approve this message.”
Update:
Under the heading, truth stranger than fiction, Kevin Curtis from Tupelo, Mississippi is a professional Elvis Impersonator, who goes by “KC” (short for Kevin Curtis). That also might explain why the letters are sent from Memphis, Tennessee, home of Elvis. On another site, he uses the same phrasing as in the letters sent above:
“It may take the rest of my life but I’ve been at it for 13 years now and have NO PLANS to stop this journey and crusade for JUSTICE. People called me “crazy” and a “nut” 12 years ago. Now…today..what are they calling me? Hmmmmmm……some food for thought. This is KC & I approve this message.
Update: Lady Liberty makes a good case this is the guy.

Let the flood gates open.
United Union of Roofers, Waterproofers and Allied Workers:
Our Union and its members have supported President Obama and his Administration for both of his terms in office.

But regrettably, our concerns over certain provisions in the ACA have not been addressed, or in some instances, totally ignored. In the rush to achieve its passage, many of the Act’s provisions were not fully conceived, resulting in unintended consequences that are inconsistent with the promise that those who were satisfied with their employer sponsored coverage could keep it.

These provisions jeopardize our multi-employer health plans, have the potential to cause a loss of work for our members, create an unfair bidding advantage for those contractors who do not provide health coverage to their workers, and in the worst case, may cause our members and their families to lose the benefits they currently enjoy as participants in multi-employer health plans.

For decades, our multi-employer health and welfare plans have provided the necessary medical coverage for our members and their families to protect them in times of illness and medical needs. This collaboration between labor and management has been a model of success that should be emulated rather than ignored. I refuse to remain silent, or idly watch as the ACA destroys those protections.

I am therefore calling for repeal or complete reform of the Affordable Care Act to protect our employers, our industry, and our most important asset: our members and their families.

It should be fun hanging Obamacare around Dems necks in 2014 and 2016 as Americans begin to see the consequences of the law.

THURSDAY, April 18, 2013 (Kaiser Health News) — Few aspects of the Affordable Care Act are more critical to its success than affordability, but in recent weeks experts have predicted costs for some health plans could soar next year.

Now health law supporters are pushing back, noting close ties between the actuaries making the forecasts and an insurance industry that has been complaining about taxes and other factors it says will lead to rate shock for consumers.

“Most actuaries in this country — what percentage are employed by insurance companies?” Sen. Al Franken, a Minnesota Democrat, asked an actuary last week at a hearing of the Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions.

The committee was discussing a study published last month by the Society of Actuaries (SOA) predicting that, thanks to sicker patients joining the coverage pool, medical claims per member will rise 32 percent in the individual plans expected to dominate the ACA exchanges next year. In some states costs will rise as much as 80 percent, the report said

He's always trying to protect Islam........too much so

He says “we can’t rush to judgement about these individuals or groups of people”. Translation: don’t look behind the curtain at the Islamic radical connection.

He also got the third victim’s name wrong, calling her is “Lingsu Lu”, rather than Lingzi Lu. Please try to get the names of the victims right, Mr. President.
