So the conservative solution is let forest fires burn. I don’t think that’ll get much public support. Are there any conservative politicians supporting that view or is it just something else you made up?
Should people have their own private fire departments to protect their homes? Is that the conservative solution?
Always twisting. Forests have always burned, long before man showed up. It's the trying to control things that screwed things up. And now they're so thick with undergrowth any fire will be much more intense and explosive than if things happened naturally. Way to go environmentalists!

Actually the premise is that many small tremors actually relieve pressure on a fault and may prevent a large quake.

In other words, a guess, sometimes an educated guess, which becomes a theory when substantiated by further premises, that can eventually become accepted science.

Anybody can propose a premise. That's what you condemn Trump for doing. You now belong to the same club as Trump.

So you are saying that there was a plan in Trump’s Department of the Interior to remove fuel from the forest floors and liberals blocked it?

Really?
Heard today that Jerry Brown vetoed a bill in 2016 that would have allowed better managing of the forests. He's saying now that was a mistake and is looking to pass a bill that would allow property owners to harvest without permits trees less than three feet in diameter on properties less than 300 acres. Environmentalists are against it. Turns out that for about 50 years homeowners haven't been allowed without permit to cut down trees due to lawsuits and court orders. So even in non National Forests massive amounts of fuel have been allowed to grow.
