‘This is deadly stuff’: Tapes show Trump acknowledging virus threat in February

"President Donald Trump acknowledged the “deadly” nature of the coronavirus earlier this year in a series of recorded interviews with The Washington Post’s Bob Woodward, even as Trump publicly sought to dismiss the disease’s threat to Americans.

Recounting a conversation with Chinese President Xi Jinping, Trump told Woodward on Feb. 7 that the coronavirus is “more deadly than your, you know, your — even your strenuous flus.”

“This is more deadly,” he said. “This is five per — you know, this is 5 percent versus 1 percent and less than 1 percent, you know. So, this is deadly stuff.”

So you're suggesting President Trump should have ignored the scientists and instead listened to the communist dictator of China.

Then a few short days later after accomplishing nothing, trump signs the very same bills they were supposedly against on policy grounds, and it’s crickets. So if it was veto proof why did he sign them? Like make it make sense. The bills were going to pass which means trump didn’t have to sign them, the government still would have been funded, people still would get their $600, so why did trump sign both bills? They are the same ones who think climate change is a massive conspiracy. The same ones who think trump is fighting the deep state, the same ones who think trump was chosen by GOD to be president, the same ones who believed Obama wasn’t born in America or that he was a secret Muslim, or the same ones that believe the clintons are responsible for the deaths of a dozen or so people, or the same ones who believe in pizzagate and qanon. Or the same ones who believe that a massive voter conspiracy took place against only trump. In other words, trump supporters in general already believe a lot of false bs about politics.
