President Trump

Bogus charges? What the :censored2:? Do you really think anybody would move forward with criminal charges with anything less than a rock solid case against the sitting President of the United States?

If there's anything that comes out worth trying to pardon himself for, it'll probably be for something that most sane folks on both sides of the political spectrum will have seen solid evidence of and say "Yeah, that guy is probably guilty as :censored2:."

Republican DOJ, with an investigation led by Republicans. And Trump can declassify and release any proof of his innocence if he wants to contest anything.
Except for Mueller every last person on Mueller's team is a Democrat. And Mueller and McCabe prove that in Washington it's not about the party affiliation as much as it is about keeping the money flowing. Trump is a threat to that. You guys from the start have talked about how Trump the billionaire is in it for the money, that he won't improve things, that we've all been hoodwinked. He's proven you wrong every step of the way and you can't stand it. Every success is downplayed and denigrated. Can't push the liberal agenda if the conservative is doing well. Can't skim off the top of all that money if Trump has his way and greatly reduces spending. We finally get a President who's trying to change how things are done for the benefit of the average citizen and the power structure is trying to prevent it.

Well, hello 1950s. Should we provide @bbsam with some "separate but equal" forum restrictions, Jim Crow style?

We aren’t even close to that. But if we get there, probably obstruction. Would be a near slam dunk in the House and I wouldn’t be surprised to see a couple republican senators cross over to convict.
How did he obstruct? He has the power as President to fire anyone in his administration at any time for any reason. What else?

You’ve been hoodwinked. I know. It all feels good. Spending into oblivion, that thing conservatives always beat democrats up about feels great now. There is no “tax cuts pay for themselves” coming into fruition. Incomes aren’t rising in any proportion to what corporations are getting. With the sudden spikes in fuel prices, kiss that all goodbye anyway.

You really wanna see things get better for the working man in America? Don’t look at immigrants and overseas trade. Look inside our borders and wealth distribution. Not taking money from some and giving it to others, but how labor is vastly undervalued.

Because in terms of impeachment, that can be deemed abuse of presidential power. Seriously van. You act like you helped elect a king.

Yep, in order to get what he wanted he had to agree to spend a lot. But let's see how it goes with the economy. Things take time. You don't flip a switch and suddenly all the revenue is there to pay down the debt. You have to start by creating conditions that will increase government revenue.

We've had this discussion before. You want to increase pay for everyone then don't just start within our borders but in your own backyard. If your employees are averaging $35k a year and you're doing $150k then give each of them more and you take less. I'm sure they'd all appreciate the extra $5k or so. Last time you said that it would cost you more than the $5k for each employee. So? Point is that liberals are always willing to spend other people's money but can be extremely tight fisted with their own. In the real world people get paid more when the work they do is highly valued. If people want more they need to prepare themselves better with the proper training. Just paying everyone a lot more to make things fairer ends up inflating the money because businesses have to charge more to be able to pay the extra. The only other way is for business owners to take considerably less and give the money to employees. That won't work because like yourself no one risks their money going into business to just get by. They want to do better. Everyone should settle for less, enjoy a nice little home and a modest little car. But no one is satisfied with that. Everyone wants the mansion on the hill, and is striving towards that. On the plus side it keeps the U.S. Dollar strong so that economic refugees such as myself can enjoy a better life elsewhere.

US Constitution.
The POTUS has broad constitutional power to reward a pardon to anyone, including the POTUS, unless it is to pardon the POTUS from impeachment.

It would however be political suicide if he did so.
Pretty sure you cant be the judge in your own trial, so he can't pardon himself.

That being said, I'd love for him to try to pardon himself.
