Why do all of our vehicles have gas cards and not in other Centers?

Only our diesels and satellites have them. You'd be hard pressed to run out of gas in any of the automatics in town.

we have double that many just in our carwash.

I believe it. We're tiny. That's why we don't have the issues most of you guys have. Everybody knows each other.

My supervisor tells me they had to remove that much in GASOLINE from a tractor once.

I can see it being easier to put gas in a tractor just because of the large filler cap. But even then, what did he pull a feeder into a local gas station?

.....or do what some private pilots do and go to the hardware store and purchase a 1/2 inch wooden dowel to "stick" the tank(s) with.

Or you can do what most do and eyeball it

Not all centers have their own gas pumps. My last center didn't, we all had gas cards.
My current center is just diesel, so all gas cars (1/3 of fleet) are filled on road each day.

So is mine we have to fill all gas on road
