Raise in new contract

We should get 2 bucks+ an hour imo… what do people want 5 bucks an hour??? All the trolls come out about this time of year.
Same ones don’t file grievances, skip their lunch, work off the clock, and don’t even bother to vote on contractual issues, or even in their local union elections.
Quick to complain about everything, including saying we’ve lost “everything” even while somehow we managed to continue being the top paid in the industry. go check out the FedEx forms if you don’t believe me and see what they make, I’m not saying we don’t deserve more. I’m saying acting like a tough guy one time every five years and they’re not doing anything the other four years does not make you have “a pair”.

$2 sounds reasonable
And a $5 raise for part timers

I'll say that @textat3 is completely unreasonable with his $20 demands, but you two are selling us short here. "People don't realize what our benefits cost" is accurate, but many of us do. What also isn't being considered with that is the 20% - 30%+ increases being negotiated with companies across the nation who also pay a ton into HWP. $8.50ish is 20% over the life of the contract. $3.50 up front plus another $5 over 4 years is the absolute least we deserve, along with standard HWP increases like so many others are getting. I'm a reasonable guy, but if these less profitable companies can afford it, I'm getting mine. Especially after the way we were treated in 2020 and 2021. I see your point, but don't sell yourselves/us short.

Trust me I have not forgotten how we was treated during the pandemic.

It still pisses me off

I believe my guesstimate was somewhere around $8.50 spread out over five years, could be different amounts for different years, as they move the shells around but I believe it will be right around there, and should be.

If we don’t get a good bump I’m voting no…and imo we’ve been treated like crap ever since I started here, it’s not a recent thing. The more we can get the better afaic so we’ll see what happens

What would you like to see in wage increases for 5 years?
