That's the old contract.

New deal sucks for package handlers as far as raises go. $0.50/yr on your seniority date if you were hired after 8/1/2013.

Start $11.00 / $10.00
Seniority plus (1) year $11.50 / $10.50
Seniority plus (2) years $12.00 / $11.00
Seniority plus (3) years $13.00 / $12.00
Seniority plus (4) years $13.50 / $12.50

Skilled / unskilled

so hold on... how in the :censored2: am I making 12.30 an hour then?

Like.... that's serious confusion... been there since august 2012, so I guess I should be at 12 about to jump to 13 so I shouldn't complain....

but 12.30 is a weird number according to this progression, and I've been making it since last August.

You were hired under the old deal. What $ did you start at under the old contract?

Your progression according to the Master Agreement looks like this:

2013 - $0.70 ($.35 8/1/2013 + $.35 2/1/2014)
2014 - $0.70 ($.35 8/1/2014 + $.35 2/1/2015)
2015 - $0.70 ($.35 8/1/2015 + $.35 2/1/2016)
2016 - $0.80 ($.40 8/1/2016 + $.40 2/1/2017)
2017 - $1.00 ($.50 8/1/2017 + $.50 2/1/2018)

Heyyyyy that looks a little more true to my experience.

It just gets so damn confusing when they have all these different rates of wage progression depending on which contract you were hired under.... ahh, I'll get used to it eventually....

[EDIT: Started out making $10.50/hr on the preload.]

Back in the day, part timers got one dollar less than full time wage. You would be making over $600 a week.

It is so insignificant that it's not worth calculating it, if you are making 11.50 or whatever it doesn't amount to anything. If that's your only source of income you are :censored2:ed.

no actually I was just curious. it is not my only source of income. I also receive cash benefits for attending school and all my classes/books are paid for by UPS.
