What matters is a substantial percentage of Muslims believe those verses matter today and it's their responsibility to uphold them. No other religion today has adherents committing violent acts in it's name in comparable numbers to Islam. A tiny fraction compared to what Muslims do. And congresswoman Omar not long ago was in a refugee camp in Africa. That she, given a powerful platform, repeatedly attacks Jews, Israel, and the U.S. illustrates that Islamic adherents shouldn't be allowed to enter the U.S.. Japan doesn't allow them in. Ask Japan how many Muslim terrorist attacks it has had. If a Democrat gains the presidency and resumes allowing in Muslim refugee numbers that Clinton was planning on, we'll see more and more attacks here. Especially if we take them from areas where it's impossible to vet them.
