Because you're living in sin. You've given yourself up to sin. Your soul is the most precious thing you have and when Christians tell you that you must turn to God it's not about hatred but a genuine concern for your soul's salvation. But you are free to choose in this life and are free to reject God and his salvation. But to obtain salvation we must submit to his will and not ours. I honestly don't hate you. Neither of us are perfect. Ultimately though we will be judged according to the life we've lived.

You may be right. But you know what? I continue to love my wife and do things for her and she's coming around. I continually volunteer to help my family and they really appreciate it. When we stop trying to make everything about us and serve others very good things happen. People will disappoint you. I've disappointed others. My life has gotten much better when I try to be of service. And I don't need money or things to live that way. No matter what others do what matters is what I do.

The work of creation was done and is done. The work of setting the laws of the universe and natural law was done and is done.
The purpose and work of miracles has been done and is done.
The work of God to save man(loving the world to send his son), the work of Jesus (His part)to save man (dying on the cross) is done, the work(His part) of the Holy Spirit to save man ( Giving us the mind of God in words, Bible) is done.
The Godhead do not have to continue work in any of these. For example, Jesus does not have to die on the cross again.

My father cheated on her. He divorced her. She was pregnant with me and they already had one kid my older brother. I met the woman he cheated on her with, complete psycho ended up accusing him of rape and coming up to his work place to make a scene about it when he left her.

My dad’s dating life is kind of funny. I think the psycho accusing him of being a rapist in front of his employees traumatized him. Two of his other three girlfriend lived in completely other countries and he would fly them in and go visit them from time to time. Russian and a Brit, never met the Brit. The Russian was a cold hearted bitch though, she would make fun of American cooking and god mad at me when I spit out her traditional Russian soup and made a hot pocket.
Stupid woman tried to serve me what tasted like a bowl of vinegar onions and cabbage, think they called it Borsch or something.

Sounds like you have some experience with the situation.

I've been divorced 27 years. It was easy as we were so poor and broke-ass, that in the end, there was literally nothing to fight over.
It was a sad situation. We were always at work, working dead-end crappy jobs, broke, worried, and tired. Everything that could go wrong, went wrong. We have not been in contact with each-other since then. She eventually became a lawyer.

I have had some psycho-bitch experiences. The kind that are disturbing and distressing during the event, yet side-splitting hilarious in retrospect.

I am fortunate in that the vast majority of my hard lessons in life have been learned through observing the seemingly inexhaustible tragedies and misadventures of my friends. Who are sadly (mercifully) dropping like flies. I've been to five of their funerals in two years. During their funerals it is amusing to observe that with the exception of hollow platitudes, it is genuinely a struggle to say anything good about them. Also; who is able to, yet do NOT attend the funeral is very sad. The source of all this is the triad of drugs, alcohol, and crazybitches.

I knew that you were going to say that your parent's relationship fell apart when your mother was expecting with you.

Yer dad running around with other women, and the resulting turmoil and uncertainties would've been VERY stressful for her.

As much as I disapprove of my dad as a father now that I’m older and fully understand the depth of it I don’t really have much bad to say about the man still. Don’t hate him, wouldn’t lie about him. He is a pretty responsible human being when it came to all that stuff, educated, high IQ and insightful, he is just a damaged person from his upbringing. Very sweet man despite everything he been through, lots of humility in him and care for his employees. Yeah he used to pound Guinness a bit and I’m not so sure about crashing cars or anything else he did wrong when younger. I have heard he liked to party.
He is actually a part owner along with his cousin of a business their fathers started, I never bitched about him not believing in nepotism either because that business was a step down for him compared to his career in New York. He moved down here with my mother to be a father and raise us around her/his family, but it just didn’t work out. People are people.
He is a good man, just not a good father or husband.

Without my father running that business it would go under and a lot of people who have worked for him for 20+ years would be out of a job. It’s the only reason he doesn’t take his 7-8 figures and just off and retire to Iceland like he planned. He doesn’t have the heart to do it.

He had more advantages than me and grew up in a much nicer environment though, in a two parent household with a wealthy father who helped him with getting a great education. Something he refused to do for me and my brother, even though he told us he would.
But like I said, I can’t hate my dad, he ain’t a horrible person and doesn’t deserve that.
