I once had a fellow "Christian" get all up in my face about marijuana use. He told me I was going to hell for using it. He tried telling me the bible condemns it. I did my own research and cornered him in a debate. The Bible doesn't condemn it. He leaves me alone now.

I don't answer to the self righteous Christian who wants to tell me how to live my life. I answer to Jesus. I don't remember that other guy dying on a cross for me.

I don’t find any of this interesting and I don’t need a Bible if I want to justify rotting my brain with marijuana. I did it for a third of my life without using Jesus as an excuse.

How is this absolute morality any different from moral relativism

Moral relativism denies the moral absolutes of Scripture, making every man a law to himself. You are like millions who have been deceived by liberal philosophy that allows men, society, or cultural demands to replace Bible teaching with their own theories on feminism, homosexuals, etc. The result is plainly seen in the undermining of the moral fabric in this country.​

In this age of moral relativity, the Christian believes that there is an absolute standard of ethics that is applicable to every person for all time. Sin is wrong because it is a violation of God’s word (1 John 3:4), not because it is a violation of societal ethics or personal conscience.
Because there is a God and that God has given us a law by which to live, all men are bound by the same moral code (John 12:48).
When a parent raises a kid, they need to speak with certainty to their children and be able to know what is right and wrong and be able to explain right and wrong to them. Scripture tells us what is right and wrong. Sin (what is wrong)is clearly identifiable (Gal. 5:19-21). I can teach these moral principles to my children because I can absolutely know what they are.
When you deny there is a God, much less a law he gave, there is no stopping place. The more people that take this position, the worse a country becomes.
Case in point? You.

the more I learn about the complexity of the sciences the more i believe it didnt happen by accident.

Many things are not specifically condemned , but are wrong based on general principles found in scripture.

James 4 17 supports what you are saying too. Idk man. I feel like Jesus came to free us of our addictions. Anything can be an addiction. Some people are literally addicted to eating couch cushion stuffing.

I don't feel that the act of smoking marijuana is a sin. I feel like being an addicted slave to it is. It's a battle for me to balance it. Maybe that's a sign I shouldn't bother with it. I am fairly certain that nobody is going to hell for marijuana use though

Paul didn’t “feel”persecuting Christians was wrong either. Acts 23:1 Just sayin. Basing right and wrong on how you feel puts you in the same camp as incorrecto .

I get the confusion, The problem is the Bible did not say you cannot have a drink it said do not be drunk. The Bible also says you should eat but don’t be a glutton.

There's a lot of debate in everything. Don't worry though, you don't have to answer to any of these idiots who use Jesus as a means to their end. You just have to have a personal relationship with Jesus and be honest with yourself about your own interpretations. Praying always helps too.

I don’t need an imaginary friend to ask for help or make me feel better about the unknowns of the human condition.
