I think the issue is fundamentalism and radicalism on both sides stirs up the middle. Most of us want to be decent and good human beings as well as want to be left alone.

I am also inclined to believe that people don't care what they're drinking when they are "well drunk", but when you are completely sober about to have your first drink you notice more if it's good or not. Is this a silly thought?
