Yes sir. The New Testament. The Old Testament already existed. The New Testament is a collection of writings that were passed around from congregation to congregation. Eventually gathered into one book but also eventually restricted to Church clergy and its hierarchy. For many centuries the Catholic Church controlled what their parishioners could know. But with the Reformation the Bible was translated into multiple languages and its use was again given to everyone who wanted it.

Jesus was revolutionary in that he was teaching to love your neighbors. Love your enemies. It was a very different philosophy than what the Roman world was used to.
