All authority has been given to Jesus, not to the Bible.
We know of Jesus' life, his teachings, his death and resurrection, his sacrifice for humanity, his plan of salvation, and leading the Christian life, all through the Bible. You keep saying the Bible isn't necessary but there's no way to know the above without it. You're a false teacher.

Again you place the Bible above God Himself.

You even place your own understanding of the Bible over what the Bible actually teaches about God Himself revealing Himself to us, His creation.

In the beginning there was God.

Not the Bible.

I do love the Bible though.

Circle time.

What is the description of spirituality?
Being spiritual essentially means connecting with a sense of something beyond the physical realm, often involving a personal search for meaning, purpose, and interconnectedness in life. It can involve faith, belief in a higher power, or a deep appreciation for the natural world and human experience. Spirituality is a personal journey, and while it may overlap with religion, it doesn't necessarily require membership in a specific religious organization.

Here's a more detailed look at what it can mean:
Key aspects of spirituality:
  • Connecting with something larger than oneself:
This can manifest in various ways, such as through a personal relationship with God or a higher power, or through appreciating the beauty and wonder of the natural world or art.

  • Seeking meaning and purpose:
Spiritual individuals often explore their values, beliefs, and the overall purpose of their lives.

  • Experiencing interconnectedness:
This can involve feeling a sense of connection with others, the natural world, or a higher power.

  • Personal growth and self-discovery:
Spirituality can be a path for individuals to explore their inner selves, gain self-awareness, and work towards personal growth.

  • Practicing virtues:
Many spiritual paths emphasize virtues like compassion, empathy, and kindness.

  • Belief in the supernatural:
Some spiritual beliefs include a belief in a supernatural realm or afterlife.

  • Non-institutionalized religious practice:
Spirituality can also be a form of individualized or non-ritualistic faith, separate from the structures of organized religion.
In essence, being spiritual is about finding meaning, purpose, and connection beyond the purely physical world, and it can take many different forms depending on the individual's beliefs and practices.

I doubt that you do. I'm not placing the Bible above God. I'm saying God gave us the Bible to know him and understand what he wants for us. Nowhere does it say we'll all be in direct communication with him if we just embrace him. You are literally making it up as you go along.

Why do you say the way it manifested to me was wrong?
I find meaning and purpose and connection with this..
Sit cross legged on the floor. Chant and hum. Think nice things. Feel it ! Feel it good! Raise your hands in the air and sway back and forth. What ever you feel and think about “the spirit” it’s from God! Let go and let God! Spirituality, baby! What ever pleases an satisfies you is just fine with God!
And then you said..
You obviously don’t understand the meaning of spirituality.

🙏
Why isn't the "form" that is dependent on my individual belief and practice right?

Ye of doubt and unbelief.

Yes you are.

Yes God is the giver of all things, including the Bible, and it is useful for understanding what He wants and doesn’t want for us.

Yes it does.

No I am not, but perhaps you are guilty of what you accuse me of, my friend.

All authority has been given to Jesus, abide in Him.

I never said that.

I took your reply as being insincere, perhaps even sarcastic. My bad. I support your understanding and means if it is sincere.

Yes as God enables, not religion. One cannot approach God apart from God’s prevenient grace.

It is right because sincerity defines what is right when it comes to spirituality?

The Bible is not an end in itself, but a means to bring men to an intimate and satisfying knowledge of God, that they may enter into Him, that they may delight in His
Presence, may taste and know the inner sweetness of the very God Himself in the core and center of their hearts.

No I did not. I don’t see it so black and white as right and wrong.

No it doesn’t.

Again I believe you are not being sincere with regards to your question?

As God enables, my friend.
