I don’t really see any good reason to listen to a racist, spew his propaganda, and pretend he’s a Christian.

“He is best known for his advocacy of black theology and black liberation theology. His 1969 book Black Theology and Black Powerprovided a new way to comprehensively define the distinctiveness of theology in the black church.[17] His message was that Black Power defined as black people asserting the humanity that white supremacy denied, was the gospel in America. Jesus came to liberate the oppressed, advocating the same thing as Black Power. He argued that white American churches preached a gospel based on white supremacy, antithetical to the gospel of Jesus.”
Understood. Which is why I doubt anything in my mind would be changed but always up to hear new stuff. It's also a warning that I would be moved since Rickyb is a follower of his yet is still not born again himself. But hey, I'll be on the trail for hopefully quite a few months so I'll have plenty of time to occupy.

I have no problem to listen to anyone for their perspective, but give me something specific for me to listen to first. If his message is one you have espoused on here though don't expect me to change my mind. It is going to take a lot for me to change my mind on "why" Jesus was sent to earth for starters
Yea just get perspective. See if you can find him quoting the bible

If all you talk about, think about, and care about is race then you’re a racist. Very small minded and exactly where they want to keep us. Absolutely nothing to do with Christ.

Christ was colored and poor. The roman state was white

Teachers who specialize in race arent racists but cornel west like all of us has racist thoughts.

Someone should've told those nasty Romans to stop attacking all those white countries around them and enslaving all of those white people. Nowhere in the Bible I'm aware of is skin color denigrated. Nowhere are the Romans accused of being racist slavers. The Romans were a warrior culture who sought to subjugate every non Roman within their sphere of influence to their will. Only someone looking through the prism of historical slavery in the U.S. would come up with such a theory. A theory based on hate.

BrownFlush

Woke Racist Reigning Ban King
Through His grace and works in and through His creation
Can you explain this babbling?
How does his creation tell you what he wants in matters of salvation, worship, etc.?
Through his grace? How do you know when this grace has been given to you? For that matter, how do you even know about grace? The tree that he created tells you?
