Retirees Getting Together - Anyone else?

Any of the other retirees attend any get togethers like this?

Nope. Most of them had to go out and get other jobs so they don't have time. I don't understand but whatever floats yer boat, I guess.

Me? I'm too busy to get together also. Let's see....wake up at 9, 10 or whatever, check porn sites, scratch my arse, check porn sites, kick the dog outside, check porn sites, read Daily Planet, check porn sites, check my international clock to see where it's five o'clock somewhere, check porn sites, start consuming adult beverages, check porn sites, greet the wife when she gets home from work, stop checking porn sites, pass out in recliner in front of TV.

This retirement crap is stressful enough without bothering to get together with others.

Throw in golf once or twice a week when the weather agrees, and our days are pretty much identical.

So who determines whether a thread remains a serious "adult conversation" or one with some levity. BC has become boring enough with some of the characters missing, I welcome the humor (but I am not an expert on internet protocol). I bet that one guy is a pita to live with

I don't know.....can't find it now. Maybe I was "sleep posting" . It was a long post and I only took that phrase from it..........or maybe I imagined the whole thing. How do you like Canada?

We have 4 to 6 guys who get together every Mon. for lunch and another 8 to 12 guys who get together for breakfast
every other Wed. All of us long time fulltime guys.

Bet everyone smiled. From the former managers and hourlies that I liked and disliked working with, everyone them smiled after retiring. I could have a normal conversation with them. They were different person people.
