Rittenhouse Trial

Laws are not struck down by juries. Their nullification only applies to that defendant in that trial. It doesn't undo the law. It gets the law off that one defendant in that case.

You really need to read something.
But you implied the jury can rule a law unfair. Nullification doesn't necessarily do that. Ignoring the law doesn't do it either. Judges give juries instructions as to what they're ruling on and can rescind a verdict if a jury ignores his instructions and doesn't rule according to the law. In other words juries aren't the last word on a verdict. Either the judge or an appeals court can invalidate their verdict.

They were within their rights to use force to detain him, and within their rights to defend themselves when he became a lethal threat.
What law was he breaking that gave them the legal right to detain him? Do you feel that anyone at any time has the legal right to detain you?

You'd have to ask them.
You said he wasn't a thief.
I'm simply pointing out his record of stealing.
Oh, he had a record. I thought we were talking about what happened that day and why.
Okay. Just pointing out that he wasn't just "out on a jog".

I don't feel sorry for any of the idiots in that case, including the dead guy.

We know he wasn't just out for a jog because he had a record?

We know he wasn't out on a jog because people don't go in 14 mile jogs. Come on man, don't be silly.
But how would the guys who chased him down and shot him know that? Where he went wrong was attempting to fight armed men. He should have complied and waited for the cops. I'm all for neighborhood watches but if you are going to come at someone with a gun you had better see him coming off someone's property. Not go after him because you don't like his looks.

No clue, I haven't followed the case closely because the outcome seems inevitable. Even if they were to get off, the leftists will send the feds after them for a hate crime.

And when the feds want a conviction they get one.
You haven't followed the case closely but already determined the three innocent. Lol
