Thats how little bit of knowledge...
... my mother and her family used many times during worldwar II !
But, yes, we didn't need to make a test flight to the bunker. The german government just tested th
And you are right. The germans were about 3 weeks late. I got drafted just after I left Germany.
But, most of my friends, and co workers were drafted by then.
I did visit German, US and even the Canadian Barracks in Germany. Something you can probably never do these days anymore, with the terrorists alerts.
A sovjet crossing the border and 10 minutes to live ? If thats the case, they sure screwed up in Afghanistan, didn't they ?
Maybe Americans lived in fear, like you Tie, under the coldwar, but Germany went on with their business, and became the world largest exporter of manufactured goods.
Germany had many ties with the communist Russia, imported steel, natural gas, and many other natural resources from them. And still do, to this day.
You are just trying to make Russia sound worse then it ever was ! Typical military son, you are .
In reality he has heard the name Reagan somewhere but does not know anything about him. He never lived here under carter so he can't relate to that experience. The carter economy that was 10 times worse then this one. Carter foriegn policy that had us very close to direct combat with the soviet union during the Iran mess. He never lived in germany as a military man so he does not know what its like to know that a soviet crossing of the border may mean you have 10 minutes to live. He does not know anything about living under the threat of mutually assured self destruction. He never had to practice evacuating to a bomb shelter in case the soviets fired their nukes. Never served in the military during a time when the greatest fear was world war three and knowing the soviets practicied with chemical weapons.
Klein did watch wkmac's video and stay at a holiday inn express last night.
So while Klein does not know anything about the american experience during this time it has not stopped him from proudly displaying his ignorance.
I don't recall saying anything about my mother and her family during wwII.
the comments above made by me were my personal experiences living under the threats of the soviet union. thanks to ron reagan those very real threats are now distant memories.
thanks to ron reagan you are allowed the privledge of questioning his decisions without having to worry about the kgb busting your door down and hauling you off to jail.
