Yeah, they are generally are not looking to fire people when they got to run a route their selves, if they take you out of service.One of the great things about being seriously under-staffed is you can experiment with all types of past practice infractions!
200 pieces? RookieScanning is only required for EoDs, PPPs, and letterboxes. I never scan anything else. I have days where I pickup nearly 200 pieces. I'm not wasting time scanning all that.

Well what you can’t see is on the bottom there’s about 50 shirt boxes, And behind what you say is gravy is a bunch of white box is full of paper between 30 and 60 pounds each. I scan every package I pickup except those accounts with an end of day.Interesting. I've never been instructed to do anything other than scan every package picked up...on your board or as a walk up.
My route has 15 pickups, half with end of days, have without.
