Should part time employees make the same rate as full time employees?

Part timers have fewer responsibilities, therefore they get fewer dollars.

It isn’t equal work because the combo employee has more responsibilities, even if some days all he does is load or unload.
Yeah, part timers here. I punch in, do clerking for a few hours, then throw irregs for another 5 or 6 hours. When that's done, I relax by doing another hour or two of clerking. I can look at addresses or businesses and know what route it's going to.
Are you telling me a combo employee deserves more than me because they were able to land a full time job? They certainly don't work harder than me.

Sorry, but I don’t care anymore.
Yeah, working 2200 hours a year as a part timer because I can't get a ft job means I deserve less.
Union used to mean solidarity, now it just seems to mean 'i got mine friend the rest of you'.
Thanks, "brother".
Maybe it’s time to look elsewhere. I don’t know the economics of your area.

Ask yourself why the company is not creating a new full time job instead of using a part timer.

We don’t want you to make low wages.
We want the company to make a new full time job and bid it.

But yeah. Go ahead and assume all the full timers are out to get you. That’s fair.

Or maybe it's time you have some empathy for your union brothers and sisters 8-)

OP should read "If FTers were guaranteed zero concessions, should part-time employees make the same rate as full-time employees". The truth would be revealed. "My struggle is worse than yours, period"

Dude, we need more full-time jobs. You shouldn’t be working 2200 hours and designated as a part timer.
