The “25%” of workers who will get fired if a strike occurred will most likely be scabs and part timers. Even then, PTers who don’t scab will just be laid off till more work is available.Explain.

I guess nowadays, a half blind, deaf mute can look at sticker and go in and out the back of a truck.
more than 25% of the workforce is going to scab
After the last strike the company laid off a lot of PT because of a loss of volume. The ones that were left double shifted for a couple years and high seniority PT were making more money then the FT because of the OT after 5 hours instead of 8. It's slim pickins out there. You’d be surprised to know that the half blind, deaf mutes that UPS hires can’t do this. Maybe 1 in 5 can pull it off on a good day.

Or, have to come out to the driver, get and run them theirselves. All while bringing the driver a 32oz Gatorade. They need to never have misloads ever again
We all were part timers at one point. I say allow the part timers to get $30/hour if that’s what they want. I stayed bc $8.50/hour with free benefits was the hottest thing in town, many moons ago.Give all the money to the full timers.
The part timers don't stay long nor do they vote.
And what are you willing to give up so they can double their pay?.We all were part timers at one point. I say allow the part timers to get $30/hour if that’s what they want. I stayed bc $8.50/hour with free benefits was the hottest thing in town, many moons ago.
Same. According to this inflation website i just checked out. That is equivalent to $15.64 in 2023.Starting for Amazon is like 19 and they need to at least match . But def won’t be expecting over 20. I started at 8.50
