socialized healthcare

I have received healthcare only in the USA. And I am satisfied with it. I also think you don't have a firm understanding of what Americans want.

You suffer from confirmation bias on this, and most other political topics. Does Canada's healthcare have a cure for that?
i think i do know what americans want as ive seen polls on healthcare for all system.

many republicans and democrats agree on alot of issues, but are made to believe they agree on nothing by divide and conquer.

You know a handful of polls, and tell me you know what America wants?
You should come to the midwest sometime, Ricky.

We don't want socialism. We don't want welfare states. We don't want more regulations.

Most of us just want to be left alone to live our lives. Full stop.

But in the end you'll sign up for that socialized form of retirement (social security) and the socialized healthcare system that has been around for more than half a century (Medicare) and when you're in a nursing home and your money's all gone and your kids don't want you living with you'll apply for that evil socialist form of care for the indigent called Medicaid.

They force me to participate in their various Ponzi schemes. It is not my choice to pay in. I would decline participation if I could.
Given that such programs are in obvious conflict with your conservative ideals you don't HAVE to apply for those benefits given the obvious anguish accepting them would cause you. Trouble is, I've never met a clucker yet who turned them down. Why? Because by that stage of their lives when it came healthcare and retirement income it was their ONLY option and they were damn glad they were there after discovering just what the premiums of a private health insurance plan were along with the concerns regarding the future sustainability of some private pension and retiree healthcare plans .

And don't give me this BS about it not being there when you come to retire. It will be there .....both parties will see to it that it is.

Hey Dingleberry Hound, we know that by that stage of our lives it's there for us because we've been paying into it all of our working lives so that it will be there for us. And it's social insurance, not socialism. There is a difference. And it's the law of the land. The idea that everyone must pay into it but Republicans shouldn't get anything out of it is a liberal's wet dream. Now go change your undies and try to think up more stupidity to bless us with.

Explain to me the difference between socialism and "social insurance". I can't wait to hear you attempt to BS your way around socialism and an old age retirement and healthcare program that has it's roots firmly planted in socialist ideology and explained in a completely unbiased fashion which for you will be difficult to do given that you're obviously looking forward to the day when you can enroll is those evil socialist programs.

By social insurance I mean it spreads the risk among the entire population. Socialism controls everyone, no matter the age. Insurance is paying towards the day you need it, but no guarantee that you'll ever collect it, thus the risk. By spreading the risk with payroll contributions you can insure most seniors will receive something. Social insurance, it's what's for dinner.

"Socialism controls everyone". LOL You're confusing socialism with a police state along with trying to create two separate categories of socialism . The "good" socialism the kind of social programs that directly benefit you and "bad" socialism. The kinds of social programs that don't benefit you unless you can figure out how a person your age can enroll in Head Start.

A few years from now you'll be sitting down with countless other cluckers in front of your televisions ready for your daily Fox News mind control session where you will on a daily basis be reminded of your need to fear socialism while keeping an eye out for the mailman hoping that your newly issued Medicare card will arrive followed afterward with checking in with your bank to see if your Social Security check has been directly deposited for the month.

And will enjoy every second of it. Thank you for your hard work and dedication to make that possible.

Trying to conserve the programs smart liberals came up with while today's idiot liberals are doing their best to burn it all down.
Right. The ones that benefit you not the ones that don't LMAO. But don't worry the ones that extreme left are backing will never become law due to lack of funding.Conversely , the ones the extreme right are pushing won't become reality due to the fact that they represent efforts to use the hammer of law as a means to forcibly impose their religious views onto the American people in an attempt to control their behavior. Hasn't worked in the past......won't work now.

You say that as if only those with your views are "the American people." Guess what, mothers have the right to murder their babies. Gays have the right to marry. Guys can call themselves girls and break records in women's sports. And use their restrooms. Sanctuary cities ignore Federal immigration law. Seems to me we're not the side forcing things on others. And the reason we don't have the funding for programs you like is runaway spending on everything. If only the previous administration had done what this administration is doing. We'd be in better shape financially and there would be money to fund your programs. And let's be clear, money is taken out separately to fund those crazy programs I like. And I have absolutely no problem with assisting those in need as long as they are not able bodied and can't work. If they are and need assistance to feed their kids or keep the lights on, no problem as long as they are working.

The previous administration had deficits that were going down every year after the recovery was underway. The current administration flipped that around to set new deficit spending records.

Glad to see that you're finally admitting the fact that your problem is that you're uncomfortable with the lifestyle others live due to a great extent by having the fear of Jesus pounded into you beginning at an early age.
As long as you continue to live in accordance with the laws of this country you don't have to answer for the behavior of others. If the previous administration had done what this administration is currently doing it would have been completely unable to rescue the US banking system. asset values would be at zero and we would today find ourselves still coping with the worst depression in the history of this nation.
